Reed in Partnership has recently been inspected by Ofsted under their ”Provider Led Pathways to Work” contract. Oh dear, Grade 4 (lowest) stamped everywhere. Job Outcome rates? Opposing Work for Your Benefit scheme. Work for Your Benefit scheme bypasses the National Minimum Wage; will result in jobs lost at councils and replaced with free labour; is against Human Rights on the right to choose labour; will result in similar work to that done for Community Service without a crime ever happening; strong sanctions regime (imagine not being paid for a month because you missed out on a single target at work); is a new mild form of slavery; which has no place in our society. Conservatives intend to go ahead with the Work for Your Benefit pilot.
