Warning about new Jobseeker Agreements OK, this is not entirely new but Jobseekers might not be aware of the difference in their Jobseeker’s Agreement(JSAg) if they modify it or if they are creating a new one for a new claim.

On Flexible New Deal if you should receive a letter of notification from your Flexible New Deal provider stating that they have refered you to a decision maker for a Flexible New Deal sanction for whatever reason they should enclose the following guidance called ESL48JP.

A Freedom of Information request states: I can confirm that from 1st April 2006 until 4th January 2010, one Welfare to Work Provider in Merseyside has had to pay back monies to DWP as a consequence of fraud. The Government’s Work for Your Benefit (“workfare”) scheme has been uprated from Mild Servitude to Slavery. Providers of the scheme are able to lease out their participants to private businesses in return for money.

This post is focused more on the amounts of money the working “slaves” will receive and the providers income; another post will be for the mistreatment and other concerns. We are using the figures mentioned in Jobseekers Allowance isn’t enough!

Jobcentre Plus gives reason for this new legislation of Welfare Reform to sanction jobseekers, as to cover administration costs of closing down claims and reopening them.
