Internet Censorship: Why A4e should take a leaf out of Metropolitan International School's book

A4e should give up trying to censor blogs like this one. For one, this is hosted in America for an American company and thus under American law they are NOT liable for the content contained within – so please stop harrassing them. They are only the middleman/service provider, not the publisher, I am. Metropolitan International School recently lost a court case against search engine giant Google (who happens to contain a lot of content from this blog, I wouldn’t advise going after them…) and found this out.
Also… out of courtesy, if you have a problem with a content of a blog, contact the blog publisher/admin. On this blog, I have the email address on every page towards the left column, no excuses. If someone doesn’t have an email address visible then leave a comment on their blog.
Taking direct action against a blog by going straight to the service provider is unreasonable and such behaviour is unlikely to go down well in the civil courts. As I didn’t receive any correspondence from yourself I don’t know what specific concerns you had and therefore I can’t make sure that any publisher on this blog would refrain from posting similar offensive-to-yourself content in the future.
Internet Censorship against Negative Feedback doesn’t work!
and also…
Internet Censorship against Government published information in the public domain doesn’t work neither
Please focus your efforts on something more constructive… and legal, such as finding someone a job!

But this is the shape of things to come, with private companies taking over the welfare state they will be using the defamation laws and corporate confidentiality legislation as well to gag people from criticising. Central and local government can’t sue (Bookbinder judgement) as people have a right to criticise, cornerstone of democracy but the private sector is exempt and can and will (your experience speaks volumes) use whatever powers to control what people say and try and shut them up in the process if they don’t like what they see. It is utterly disgraceful!
I am sure the Government would hand the private company money for the legal costs though – without a doubt.
You are absolutely right.
Perhaps in a few months I will buy A4e a dictionary and send it to them for xmas. These businesses like to make threats and rarely do they have a case for what they claim.
An example of this was the resignation… barely libel/slander is it? On the company record for all to see.
